Baan Tawantok 1 is one of two identical five-bedroom villas, located on the sunset-facing Lipa Noi beach, on Koh Samui’s west coast. Set behind a flood-lit shared tennis court, each villa features a large private swimming pool and a wide frontage onto the white-powder sand beach. The fully air-conditioned villa is designed in southern Thai style, with detached pavilions arranged around a central garden facing the sea. Luxuriously furnished, Baan Tawantok 1 is elegant, yet relaxed and family-friendly.

The infinity-edge swimming pool is flanked by sand-wash deck, furnished with sun-loungers and parasols. Pool-side sala pavilion offers al-fresco dining and shady respite at the beachfront. The villa is designed in 4 detached pavilions, with 2 sleeping pavilions at the rear, and 2 pavilions at the front, comprising the master bedroom suite and the living room.

Facing the pool and sea beyond, the open-plan living room features a comfortable lounge, dining area, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Slide-away glass doors open onto the pool deck and garden. A spiral staircase leads up to a loft space that is used as a den for older kids. The lounge, which is closest to the pool, is furnished with comfortable sofas arranged around a coffee table, and facing a 42” LCD TV/DVD with satellite service. Seating 10 in comfort, the wooden dining table is located in the middle of the double living vaulted room, while the kitchen is located at the rear. An outdoor Thai staff kitchen is located off the main kitchen, allowing unobtrusive catering. The living room bathroom can be accessed from both inside and outside.

The master bedroom in the opposing pavilion opens onto the pool deck, and features a large private lounge/dressing room to the rear, through which the bathroom is reached. A spiral staircase leads up to a loft bedroom on the mezzanine floor above. The master bathroom includes a large free-standing terrazzo bath tub that faces the sea, and walk-in shower. The 4 additional bedrooms are located in the 2 pavilions to the rear, with 2 bedrooms in each pavilion; 3 doubles and 1 twin. All of the bedrooms open onto verandahs and the garden to the front, facing the pool and sea, and feature wooden floors, high vaulted ceilings, and en-suite bathrooms with twin sinks and indoor and outdoor showers.

Up to 4 extra beds are available for children up to the age of 12 at no extra charge, or for adults at a daily charge of $50++ USD per person.

Baan Tawantok 1 can be rented independently, or together with its sister villa can accommodate a large party of up to 24+8 guests. Complimentary WiFi broadband internet connection is available throughout, and a capable team of staff are on hand to attend to your every whim. These properties are tastefully conceived for an idyllic tropical beach vacation for friends or families, with stunning sunset sea views and a good swimming beach.

Rates are per villa, with 5 bedrooms and loft sleeping 10+4.
