Baan Wanora is a luxurious and private
beachfront residence set on the scenic south coast beach of Laem Sor,
within walking distance of the Golden Pagoda landmark temple. Sleeping
up to 13 guests in 6 bedrooms, Baan Wanora is an ideal hideaway for
parties seeking a tranquil location and full service. Designed by a
leading Hong Kong architect, the villa features cedar shingle roofs, and
is exceptionally spacious.
Designed on two levels, the main entrance
from the gated parking area to the rear, leads across stepping stones
over an ornamental pond, into the main living room. The vast open-plan
living room includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for 16,
and a spacious lounge area with ample sofa seating facing a 48”
satellite LCD TV, and views over the pool, garden, and sea beyond. The
plush living room is richly furnished, and features a vaulted wood-panelled
ceiling, air-conditioning, and slide-away glass doors opening onto the
large balcony that flanks the width of the room. The deck is furnished
with an al-fresco dining set seating 8, together with easy chairs and
loungers.
Stairs lead down from the balcony to the
secluded ground level, and 5 bedroom suites that open onto the lush
garden. All of the en-suite bedrooms are fitted with LCD TVs, built-in
wardrobes, and sofa seating. Five of the bedrooms have King beds, one has a Queen bed, and
one is furnished with twin beds. A single bedroom is located off the
twin bedroom, providing an ideal set-up for nannies to monitor children.
The twin and single bedroom, and one of the double bedrooms, are located
under the living room, while the remaining 4 double bedrooms are each
located in detached pavilions on either side of the swimming pool. The
twin bedroom opens onto a courtyard to one side, featuring a large
plunge pool with waterfall, which is ideal for kids.
The large beachfront swimming pool is
surrounded by a sandstone deck, furnished with sun-loungers and
parasols. A beachfront and poolside sala pavilion offers a shady refuge
from the sun, and a favourite spot to dine, wine, or lounge within the
closest reach of the pool, beach, and sea.
Resident staff are on hand to cater to
your every whim, and include a dedicated Thai chef, English-speaking
manager, maids, and security. Complimentary WiFi internet is available
throughout the property.
