Ban Laem Set is located directly on the quiet, palm-fringed south coast, overlooking the outlying islands of Koh Tan and Koh Matsom. Surrounded by a Zen-inspired garden of pebbles, waterfalls, and ponds, the villa is entered across a long series of stepping stones. The front garden offers a relaxing pavilion that is ideal for massages while listening to the soothing lullaby of the water features. The large, open-sided entrance provides a view of the pool and sea beyond, which expands on approach.
The vast living room features vaulted ceilings with wooden beams, terrazzo floors, and several sets of French doors opening onto the pool terrace and sea views. Elegant furniture includes a dining set for 8, sofas and armchairs arranged around a coffee table. Oversized wood-paneled doors lead to the fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and secluded study.
Ban Laem Set's four bedrooms all face the pool, with sliding glass doors opening onto the deck. The west wing features a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room to the rear, and a master bedroom with a King-size 4-poster bed, and wooden flooring. The en-suite master bathroom has large windows facing the sea, and is clad with rough-hewn sandstone that compliments the polished wooden floor. A free-standing oval terrazzo tub is located in an ideal spot for enjoying the view during your soak. A separate shower and twin bowl terrazzo vanity complete the master bathroom. The east wing features two king-size bedrooms that share an inter-connecting bathroom.
The swimming pool is surrounded by sandwash and stone terrace on 3 sides, and an infinity edge faces the sea. The pool terrace is partially covered by the over-hanging roof, and is equipped with sun-loungers and parasols. Wooden decks continue in gangways through the garden, leading to the beachfront pavilion, and out to the gated entrance to the beach.
Laem Set beach is quiet, and relatively undeveloped, with very shallow, calm waters. A short walk along the beach, heading west, brings you to the famous landmark ‘Golden pagoda’ at Laem Sor temple. Walking along the beach to the east, you will discover a small traditional Thai fishing village, with some local shops and restaurants.

Ban Laem Set is located on the south coast of Koh Samui, some 35 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Lamai, and 25 minutes from Chaweng and Nathon.
