Baan Chang is a grand beachfront villa, facing the sunset sea views over the white powder sand beach of Lipa Noi. Chang, meaning elephant in Thai, is featured throughout the property, including giant statues in the garden and hand-painted doors in the lounge. Natural materials are combined with modern day luxuries for a relaxed and elegant setting. This generously proportioned 5 bedroom beach house is an idyllic holiday home for friends or families.

The largest and most luxurious of the Dhevatara Cove villas, Baan Chang is designed around a central 20 metre swimming pool, with submerged bench seating. Surrounded by a wooden deck and furnished with sun loungers and parasols, the pool is flanked by the main living areas to one side, with bedroom pavilions to the other side.

Ornate gates and manicured gardens lead to the entrance hall, with views opening out onto the pool and sea beyond. At the centre of the property, the large 6.7x18.3 metre swimming pool includes submerged seating, and is surrounded by decks and terraces, furnished with ample sun-loungers.

Adjacent to the entrance hall, the kitchen is fully equipped, and includes a breakfast bar with stools, and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen serves a large poolside dining room with a formal table seating 10 in comfort. Beyond this pavilion, and closest to the beach is the living room, with a comfortable lounge and huge LCD TV system. Foldaway glass doors open onto the pool deck and garden, with sea views and fresh breezes.

Opposite the kitchen is the 2-storey sleeping pavilion, comprising 2 bedrooms, with a further 2 bedrooms flanking the pool in separate pavilions. The fifth bedroom faces the garden at the rear. All of 5 luxurious double bedrooms are furnished with King-size double beds, large flat-screen TVs, and feature en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, walk-in showers, and private gardens or balconies.

At the beachfront is a large sunken Jacuzzi tub, and a sala pavilion for lounging, massages, or al-fresco dining. Steps lead down to the white powder sand beach, and scenic backdrop of verdant hillside. A Hobie cat and double sea kayak are exclusively available to guests at Baan Chang. To the rear of the property is a communal gym and sauna complex, with complimentary access.

Dhevatara Cove Location
Located on the West coast of Koh Samui, 10 minutes from the ferry port of Nathon and 35 kms from Samui’s international airport. Santiburi Championship golf course is 25 minutes drive away. The villa is located within sight of the nearby Raja Ferry pier.

Daily Villa Rates 2024
Rates are for the entire villa, with discounts for reduced occupancy as follows:
5 bedroom sleeps 10.
4 bedroom sleeps 8.
3 bedroom sleeps 6.

-Rates are exclusive of 10% service, and 7% tax.
-Extra bed charge is $50++ USD per person.
-Rates are inclusive of breakfast, in-villa chef service, and airport transfers, one trip each way.
-Additional airport transfers are charged at $50+ USD per trip, and subject to 7% tax.
-Minimum stay of 2 nights in low and shoulder seasons, 4 nights during high season, 7 nights during Xmas or NY, except for stays overlaping Xmas and NY, minimum of 10 nights.
-Check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 11:00, although early arrival and late departure up to 15:00 may be requested subject to availability.
-Balance payment is required no less than 75 days in advance of arrival. For bookings within 75 days of arrival, full payment is required to secure reservations.

Early Bird Promotion
15% discount for low and shoulder seasons, 10% for high season, and 5% for Xmas/NY, applicable to bookings made at least 120 days in advance. Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.

Last Minute Promotion
20% discount for bookings made at within 30 days of arrival, except for Xmas/NY. Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.

Long Stay Promotion
10% discount for stays of 7 nights or more. Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, or during Xmas/NY.

Dhevatara Cove Promotion
10% discount when renting 2 Dhevatara Cove villas, or 15% off when renting 3 villas. Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
