Entered from above, Suralai delivers an immediate impact of awe. The entrance pathway leads over an expansive natural stone waterfall that flows behind the main building. Steps lead up to a reflection pond and the vast living room. The open-plan living room has a wooden vaulted ceiling and cool grey terrazzo floor, and opens onto an expansive balcony fenced in glass to reveal the spectacular views over Bophut bay. Featuring a sophisticated designer kitchen, dining set, and leather lounge arranged around a 50” LCD home theatre system, the living area is strikingly lavish. An iMac computer is available for guests use.

The living room extends onto the wide sand-wash balcony, which is furnished with a range of comfortable seating, including an al-fresco dining set, all overlooking the pool on the lower deck and the sea views beyond. At both ends of the balcony, stairs lead down to the bedrooms and pool deck.

To the right, steps lead down to the mid-level with 3 double bedrooms, each of which is stylishly fitted with contemporary furniture and artwork, built-in wardrobes, and an en-suite shower room with twin sinks. The 3 bedrooms also feature private balconies with seating overlooking the pool and sea views.

Further steps lead down to the garden and pool terrace. The 20 metre infinity-edge swimming pool has a large sala pavilion at the far end, complete with built-in sofas and wet-bar. Sun-loungers, parasols, and love-seats flank the pool along the expansive deck. Below the pool is a well-equipped gym with sea views.

The 3 master suites are located in a separate wing, and include dressing areas and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and grey terrazzo tubs overlooking panoramic sea views. Two of the suites have four-poster double beds, and the lower floor suite has twin beds. Each of the 6 air-conditioned bedrooms is equipped with a 30” LCD TV/DVD, iPod dock, mini-bar and a safe.
