Villa Monsoon is a luxurious 6 bedroom standalone home, located on the hills of Bang Por, with panoramic sea views over Koh Samui’s north coast, to Koh Phangan. Designed in contemporary tropical style, the villa is spacious, comfortable, and highly specified. Set on a generous plot of 3200 square metres, Villa Monsoon is surrounded by rolling grass lawns and garden.

At the centre of the property is the large 18 metre infinity-edge swimming pool, with built-in stairs and submerged shallow shelf suitable for sun bathing or young children. An additional kids’ pool is separated from the main pool by stepping stones. The pool is surrounded by an expansive deck, furnished with sun loungers and parasols. To the rear, the large open-plan living room flows onto the pool deck with slide-away glass walls.

The air-conditioned living room includes a spacious lounge with a comfortable sofa set arranged around a coffee table and satellite TV. A well-equipped modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances is flanked by a breakfast bar, and faces the dining area, with a table seating 12 and a second TV. A study area with a desk and computer completes the living room. Complimentary WiFi internet is available throughout Villa Monsoon.

At the far end of the pool is a large covered open-sided lounge area, with sofa seating, pool table, and a bar, behind which is a sound-proofed cinema room with deep sofa seating, and a large TV. At the opposite side of the pool deck is a detached pavilion comprising a pair of interconnected en-suite bedrooms. The double bedroom to the front features sea views and a private balcony, while the twin bedroom to the rear is ideal for children. The two bedrooms are separated by a lobby with kitchenette that opens onto the pool deck. An external stairway leads down from the deck to a third bedroom suite on the ground floor, the garden, and driveway.

On the top floor of the villa are 3 sumptuous master bedroom suites, all featuring vaulted ceilings, King-size double beds, dressing areas, balconies with sofas, spectacular sea views, and en-suite bathrooms with free-standing terrazzo bath tubs, double walk-in rain showers, and twin vanities. All of Villa Monsoon’s bedrooms are equipped with safes, wardrobes, wall-mounted TVs, stereo amplifier, speakers, and iPod connection, bathrobes, slippers, dressing tables, and hair dryers.

Resident staff have their own quarters to the rear of the property, and are on hand to cater to your every whim throughout your stay. Complimentary access to the gym and flood-lit tennis court at the neighbouring hotel is available to guests at Villa Monsoon. The idyllic beach at Bang Por is a couple of minutes drive away, and offers some great local seafood restaurants.

On the north coast of Koh Samui, 3 minutes drive from Bang Por beach, 30 minutes drive from the airport and Chaweng, 10 minutes drive from Samui’s Santiburi Golf Club, Maenam village, and Nathon town, and 20 minutes drive from Bophut Fisherman’s village. Nearby restaurants offer local seafood along Bang Por beach, while numerous fine dining options are available along the north coast of the island.

Daily Villa Rates 2016
Rates are for the entire property, with 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests.

-Rates are exclusive of 10% service and 7% tax.
-Rates are inclusive of continental breakfast and airport transfers, one trip each way.
-Additional airport transfers are charged at $50 USD per trip.
-Extra bed charge is $50++ USD per person.
-Check-in time is 15:30 and check-out time is 12:00, although early arrival and late departure may be requested subject to availability.
-Chef service can be arranged, at a charge of $100 USD per day, exclusive of provisioning, subject to 20% service and 7% tax.
-A $500 USD security deposit is due on check-in, to be refunded on check-out, less any damages or bills.
