At the heart of the villa, the Club House comprises a vast living room,
which opens onto the adjacent pool deck, and spectacular 32 metre
infinity-edge swimming pool. The open-plan living room features a lofty
vaulted ceiling, spacious lounge, and dining table seating 16. A fully-equipped fitted kitchen with espresso machine serves
the dining area, and is complimented by an adjacent staff kitchen for
unobtrusive catering. Upstairs, a mezzanine floor hosts the main lounge,
which is furnished with a 9 metre sofa facing a balcony and sea views,
and is equipped with a pool table. A lower level houses an extensive
suite of health and fitness facilities, with a dedicated entrance to the
lower pool deck, including an air-conditioned gym, heated Jacuzzi,
dry sauna, steam-room, shower, massage area, and changing room.
The stone-tiled swimming pool is flanked by a wooden deck with glass
barriers to captivate the sea views, and includes a built-in Jacuzzi
section seating 8. A poolside sala pavilion provides a shady refuge for
enjoying drinks or supervising kids, while larger pavilion at the far
end of the deck offers al-fresco dining and a BBQ station. The expansive

On the lower ground floor of the main living pavilion is a sound-proofed
high-end cinema, with 10 luxurious leather reclining club chairs
arranged on tiered levels. An extensive menu of movies and video games
is available from an iPad console, which also controls lighting. A
mini-bar and microwave are provided for convenient refreshments. The
lower ground floor also includes a wine cellar, stocked with over 100
bottles of fine wines, as well as showers and changing rooms serving the
flood-lit tennis court. At the rear of the tennis court is a large
covered car-park, with elevator wheelchair access to the floor above,
which houses 2 guest suites, one of which is designed to be wheelchair
accessible throughout. Wheelchair access is available from this floor to
the main living level and pool deck.
Villa Riva’s 8 bedrooms are located in 3 separate pavilions. The master
pavilion comprises of a lounge area, a huge master suite, 2
spacious guest suites, and a twin bedroom. The spacious entrance lobby includes a lounge area, and
leads to the 2 guest suites, each with a King bed and en-suite bathroom with
tub and shower. The impressive master bedroom suite covers the upper floor of the pavilion,
and features vaulted ceilings, a four-poster bed, and a large private
sun-deck overlooking sunset sea views, as well as an en-suite bathroom
with a Jacuzzi tub. The twin bedroom, suitable for teenagers or nannies, includes an en-suite shower room,
and independent entrance on the lower ground floor, opposite the tennis
The remaining 4 bedrooms are housed in 2 detached pavilions on the far side
of the swimming pool. One pavilion comprises a double bedroom suite,
with an adjacent kids’ bedroom sleeping 2 children on single and
pull-out beds. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a large tub and hand
shower. The second bedroom pavilion, which is the closest to the beach,
comprises 2 double bedroom suites, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass
doors that open onto covered decks overlooking the beach. The upper
bedroom features a vaulted ceiling, and 4-poster platform bed, together
with a sofa facing the view. The en-suite bathroom features a large
built-in tub. On the lower level is a King bedroom with a desk and an en-suite
bathroom with walk-in rain-shower.
Villa Riva’s numerous buildings cascade down the hillside to the beach, and
are interconnected by a pathway through the gardens to the rear, as well
as by a wooden walkway along the sea-facing side of the property, which
runs from the pool deck to the entertainment deck at the seafront. The
vast deck was custom-designed for functions and weddings,
and includes a retractable canopy roof,
a dedicated kitchen, bar, and food service area, guest bathrooms, a DJ
podium, and romantic marriage gazebo.
The villa’s soft, white sand beach
is semi-private and secluded, with access only possible from one
other villa, which is rarely occupied, and is shaded by
towering tamarind trees. Sun loungers and a lounge set are available on
the beach, and a sheltered rock-pool provides an intimate spot for a
dip, together with access to open water.
Fully staffed by a team of experienced hospitality professionals, Villa Riva
includes a resident manageress, who speaks fluent English and Russian, and
a Thai chef to cater for all meals.

The villa is located on a headland in Bong Por, about 5 minutes drive from Nathon,
and 30 minutes from Chaweng, with Santiburi Golf and Country club some 15 minutes drive away.
