Astasia Villa is a luxurious contemporary Thai style villa located a few steps away from the tranquil Natien Beach on the South-Eastern coast of the island, within the exclusive Samui Beach Village. Completed in 2007, the villa was designed to blend the elegance and comfort of tropical architecture and the functionality of modern living. The lush tropical garden is entered through an ornate gateway, and includes a 4 x 9 metre swimming pool, with a submerged bench at one end. A Thai-style sala pavilion offers shelter from the sun at the poolside. To maximize outdoor living comfort, three verandahs facing the pool are furnished with loungers, al-fresco dining set, and a bar with additional seating.

The ground floor comprises a vast living room, with a fully-fitted kitchen, a dining area seating 8, and a comfortable lounge. Dimmer controlled halogen lighting is combined with dramatic concealed ceiling illumination, and an array of lamps, allowing for mood setting. The lounge is equipped with LCD satellite TV, DVD/CD surround sound system. The living area is fully screened, with sliding glass doors to the verandahs, and features ceiling fans and air-conditioning for effective climate control. The villa is fitted with polished hardwood floors throughout.  

Upstairs, 2 bedrooms are separated by a large landing that opens onto a balcony, from where there are views of the beach and sea. The vast master bedroom includes a 4-poster bed, a seating area, and a private balcony with sun-loungers. A second double bedroom with balcony occupies the opposing side of the landing, and includes 2 bunk beds in the dressing room that are suitable for younger children. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, with ceiling fans, mood lighting, king-size beds, dressing rooms, and en-suite bathrooms.     

A detached pool-house bedroom suite, with TV and DVD/CD player, opens onto a verandah, with direct access to the swimming pool. Between the bedroom and the en-suite bathroom there is a dressing room furnished with a large single bed, which can comfortably accommodate two children. A fourth bathroom, located between the pool-house suite and the living room, offers convenient access from outdoor areas, and includes a shower. A fourth en-suite bedroom with twin beds is located behind the lounge on the ground floor.

A quiet, leafy residential lane leads to the uncrowded beach, with shallow waters and powder sand.

Astasia Villa is located 10 minutes drive from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng, and 45 minutes from Santiburi golf course and the airport. The nearby village of Hua Thanon, less than 5 minutes drive away, offers a seafood and fresh produce market, together with some local shops and restaurants. Nearby attractions include the Tiger Zoo and aquarium, a short walk along the beach, the butterfly park, some 5 minutes drive away, and waterfalls and elephant trekking, within 10 minutes drive.
