A short stroll down the quiet residential lane leads to the beach, with white sand, and magnificent views to the north and south of the island. During the winter months the beach is a popular location for kite-boarding, with its shallow sandy lagoon.

Villa Leelavadee is located 10 minutes drive from Lamai Beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng, and 45 minutes from Santiburi golf course and the airport. The nearby village of Hua Thanon, less than 5 minutes drive away, offers a seafood and fresh produce market, together with some local shops and restaurants. Nearby attractions include the Tiger Zoo and aquarium, a short walk along the beach, the butterfly park, some 5 minutes drive away, and waterfalls and elephant trekking, within 10 minutes drive.
